extremely loud and incredibly close
i will go see anything with tom hanks in...he was not in it very much but i enjoyed what little screentime he had...the show was different and enjoyable...the boy actor was very good cause he had to play a child with "asbergers"which if you don't know is a high form of autism....it is the kind of show that at the end you feel you have to see it again cause there are parts you missed cause the ending is unpredictable...it feels slow at times but when you get to the end of the movie you understand why.......ages 10 and up will enjoy it if they are not looking for a action packed or funny movie....a thinking movie....an 8 out of 10 or Cplus for sure....

ReplyDeleteWe all decided to join the group to watch this one. Wow ... powerful. I think you should also include in your writeup how many kleenexes one should bring with them!! Sounded like Alexandra needed an entire box! Definitely worth seeing but completely agree with you that it is definitely not an action or feel good movie. Also if you have limited or no experience with sustism/aspergers then much of the behaviors would seem quite strange. Glad we went out on a Monday night to see this one.
